Dinner: For the first time, we decided to stop by Casa Sanchez on the way home. Not knowing what to expect out of this higher end, higher price Mexican food restaurant, we were pleasantly surprise that the wines were half off on Thursdays. It’s pretty typically Mexican food with a few notable dishes such as sashimi, served with chopsticks. Guacamole, salsa and chips were complementary. The carne asada was good and the mole had flavor and a kick. But the chicken in the enchilada had a hint of chlorine. What made up for it was the Justin, let’s just say that we had the whole meal for under the retail price of that bottle. Next time, I’ll order the steak and wine and be done.Casa Sanchez 4500 S Centinela Ave
